The animated series Invincible on Prime Video is based on the comic book of the same name by Robert Kirkman. While the show stays true to the original story, there are also some differences. One key change is how powerful the characters are. Though generally similar to the comics, the show adjusts the power levels. With Season 4 of Invincible coming in March 2026, it’s a good time to review who the most powerful characters are, both from the past and present.
In Invincible, the word “powerful” has a specific meaning. It refers to a character’s actual strength and abilities, not just their influence or status. For example, Cecil Stedman is very influential, but doesn’t have any superpowers himself. So, when discussing power levels in the series, it’s about how strong someone is, not just how much control they have.
The Immortal
Voiced by: Ross Marquand

Amazon Prime Video
The Immortal is incredibly strong on Earth, but he’s not nearly as powerful compared to other beings in the Invincible universe. Although it’s very difficult to truly defeat him, he doesn’t have a particularly impressive record in major fights. He’s definitely not weak, though. His immense strength and centuries of fighting experience are valuable assets. However, because so many characters can beat him, he doesn’t rank as highly as some others in terms of overall power.
Invincible — A.K.A. Mark Grayson
Voiced by: Steven Yeun

Amazon Prime Video
Just because someone is the main character doesn’t mean they’re the strongest. In fact, a show would be much less interesting if that were true! What makes Invincible so exciting is watching Mark grow from a novice to a key protector of Earth. However, even when he wins against enemies who want to conquer his home, it’s usually a close fight. Something unexpected always gives Mark the advantage, meaning it’s not always just his strength that leads to victory. He certainly wins a lot of battles through sheer force, but if his human side didn’t weaken his Viltrumite powers, he might have been stronger all along.
Atom Eve — Samantha Eve Wilkins
Voiced by: Gillian Jacobs

Amazon Prime Video
Eve’s power level in Invincible is hard to pinpoint. If we consider her overall potential, she could be one of the strongest characters. Currently, though, she’s had trouble winning fights against opponents who aren’t significantly weaker. Like Mark, she usually wins when fighting alongside others. However, the end of Season 3 suggests she’s about to get much more powerful, as the mental block holding back her full abilities seems to be fading. We can expect her to become a major threat as the story continues.
Anissa
Voiced by: Shantel VanSanten

Prime Video
The Viltrumites are consistently ranked among the most powerful characters in Invincible. Very few beings can realistically challenge them, and even fewer survive an encounter, let alone win. Her effortless defeat of Mark proved he was outmatched. Had she chosen not to spare him, he likely would have died before she left Earth, which would have ended the series very suddenly.
Omni-Man — A.K.A. Nolan Grayson
Voiced by: J.K. Simmons

Amazon Prime Video
Omni-Man was once considered the strongest character in the Invincible universe, but others have surpassed him. He’s still a formidable opponent, but he doesn’t win as easily as he used to. His change in attitude since Season 1 – he’s become less ruthless – has also affected his power level. However, Viltrumites grow stronger with age, so if Omni-Man returns to his violent ways, he could once again become a terrifying force.
Allen the Alien
Voiced by: Seth Rogen

Prime Video
I never would have thought Allen would be one of the strongest characters in Invincible, but after everything that happened and all his upgrades, he really is! It’s honestly scary how much damage he can take – even the most powerful weapons don’t seem to affect him, which is wild considering how funny he usually is. Seeing him take on Anissa and pretend to be losing really showed everyone just how durable he’s become. And honestly, I don’t think we’ve even seen the full extent of his power yet!
Battle Beast
Voiced by: Michael Dorn

Amazon Prime Video
Battle Beast is unique among the characters in Invincible because his main goal is simply to find strong opponents and defeat them. While others enjoy fighting, they usually have deeper reasons for doing so. Battle Beast, however, just wants to fight, and he’s incredibly skilled at it – boasting unmatched strength and resilience. Though he hasn’t been a major presence so far, he’s expected to become a more significant character and fully demonstrate his power in future episodes.
Conquest
Voiced by: Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Amazon Prime Video
It may be surprising to rank a seriously injured character as number one, but Conquest truly deserves the top spot. His Viltrumite ability to heal means he’ll recover quickly. Throughout his fight with Mark and his team in the Invincible Season 3 finale, Conquest wasn’t even at his best, yet he easily overpowered everyone he faced.
Despite their best efforts, no one could defeat Conquest. When he finally decided to fight back, it became obvious how overwhelming his power was. Eve’s ability to access forbidden powers was the only thing that kept him from being even higher ranked. If she could consistently use that power, she has the potential to become one of the strongest characters in Invincible.
