How To Solve ARC Raiders NEW Puzzle Room On Buried City

The recent Cold Snap update introduced a new puzzle room to the Buried City map in ARC Raiders, and players worked together to figure it out.

The game involves finding many hidden buttons, and one wrong move means starting over. It also requires teamwork from everyone playing, which can make coordinating efforts challenging.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to solve this new puzzle.

Buried City Music Note Puzzle Room Basics

Let’s start with how to find the puzzle room. It’s located in the Buried City, on the ground floor of the building just north of the Red Tower marker.

When you arrive, you’ll see a locked door that looks a bit unsettling, along with a button. Nearby, you’ll notice 15 lights are switched off, and there’s a musical note shaped like a ‘d’ – this note is connected to the button.

The answer to this puzzle is in the next room: a sheet of music with 15 notes. The solution seems pretty straightforward, at least when you look at it on paper.

Your task is to search the Buried City map for 15 hidden buttons. You must press them in the order indicated by the music sheet clue.

A musical note next to each button shows you its place in the sequence. When you press a button, one of the fifteen lights near the final door will illuminate. Your aim is to light up all fifteen!

The key to solving this is to thoroughly explore the entire map. You also have to press all fifteen buttons in the correct sequence. If you press a button out of order, it will reset the puzzle by turning off all the lights.

Although it seems straightforward, this puzzle turned out to be surprisingly difficult! Luckily, the ARC Raiders community solved it very quickly.

In the building north of Corso da Vinci, in a bedroom on the top floor.

At the Hospital, under the stairs on the bottom floor.
On the roof under the caved highway east of Grandioso Apartments.
On the roof of the southernmost buried building at the Church Ruins.
In the attic at the top of the western building at Santa Maria Houses.

Finally, the location from the start: the room north of the Red Tower marker.

If everyone in your group presses the buttons in the correct sequence, you’ll trigger fireworks and unlock the room! Once it’s open, you can finally go inside and collect all the loot – there are tons of guitars waiting for you!
