Priscilla Presley Denies Riley Keough Is Mom to John Travolta’s Son

Priscilla Presley is setting the record straight.

Priscilla Presley, the former wife of Elvis Presley, has dismissed rumors claiming her granddaughter, Riley Keough, is the biological mother of Benjamin Travolta, the 15-year-old son of the late John Travolta and Kelly Preston.

According to a lawsuit filed by Priscilla Presley’s former business partner, Brigitte Kruse, Michael Lockwood—the ex-husband of Lisa Marie Presley—reportedly told Kruse that actress Riley Keough once exchanged one of her eggs with John and Kelly for a vintage Jaguar and around $20,000. This claim surfaced during their ongoing financial dispute.

Priscilla’s lawyers stated that Brigitte and those working with her have shown they will do anything – regardless of how unethical – to continue hurting Priscilla Presley and her family.

The author’s lawyer stated that the recent accusations are completely unrelated to the issues in this case. They described the claims against Keough as disgraceful and promised they would be fully dealt with in court.

Riley and her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, have two children: a 3-year-old daughter named Tupelo, and a younger child born in early 2025 whose name they haven’t shared publicly.

John and Kelly Travolta had their son Benjamin on November 23, 2010, a year after the heartbreaking loss of their first son, Jett, who passed away at age 16 due to a seizure. They also have an older daughter, Ella Bleu, who is now 25. The couple described Benjamin as a “miracle” baby.

“He’s given the house a renewed spirit,” John told People in a 2011 interview, “and purpose.”

Since his wife passed away, 71-year-old John has made a promise to his children: he’ll always be honest about what happened. He once told his son, ‘Ben, you’ve always valued honesty, and I want to be truthful about life. We never know when someone will pass away.’

He recalled on the Hart to Heart podcast that people had said his brother leaving home at 16 was too young, and his mother’s passing at 57 was also considered too early. He then questioned, ‘But who gets to decide what’s too young?’

Ella Bleu Travolta wished her dad a happy birthday with an old photo of them together, writing, ‘To the man who is always by my side and brings light and beauty into the world, I love you to the moon and back.’

The actor expressed his amazement at how quickly time has passed, noting that his youngest son, Benjamin Travolta, is now 13 years old. He shared his love for Benjamin, who is the son of the actor and the late Kelly Preston, and wished him a happy birthday.

Ella was amazed at how quickly her little brother had grown up. She wrote, “Happy Birthday, my sweet Benjamin! It feels like just yesterday you were a baby, and now you’re already thirteen! I love you!”

For Father’s Day, Ella sent her dad a heartfelt letter expressing her gratitude. She thanked him for being a wonderful father and for spreading joy and love, telling him she loves him very much.

Ella and her dad rang in 2020 together at a black tie affair. 

Ella shared a sweet photo of her parents with a Valentine’s Day message, just five months before her sister Kelly sadly passed away. She wrote, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope your day was full of love… and lots of chocolate, even if you’re missing a few teeth!’

John Travolta remembered his son, Jett, on what would have been his 33rd birthday in April 2025, sharing a heartfelt message: “I miss you so much! Love you forever!” Jett tragically passed away in 2009 at the age of 16 while on a family vacation in the Bahamas, after experiencing a seizure at their home.

Oh my gosh, it absolutely broke my heart in the best way when Ella posted on Instagram in October 2023! It was Kelly’s 61st birthday, you guys, and Ella wrote the sweetest message – “Happy Birthday mama, I love you so much! Thank you for inspiring me every day.” I seriously teared up. It’s just so clear how much Kelly meant to her, and how much she still inspires Ella. It was everything.

That would be dad. “It’s privilege to be a father,” the Grease alum said. “I love you my babies.”

Kelly, who played mob boss John Gotti and his wife Victoria Gotti, noted that despite the characters being very different from themselves, there were some relatable aspects. ‘We’ve been a couple for a long time, we have a lot of love for each other, and we both cherish our children—and then we stepped into these roles,’ she explained.

They were all smiles as Benjamin celebrated his 9th birthday.

The family hopped into the Easter spirit. 

And the Travolta family was cuddled up in bed.

John and Kelly took their children to the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
