Magic Eden passed Blur as leading NFT marketplace in March: CoinGecko
In March, Magic Eden, an NFT marketplace built on Solana, experienced a significant jump in monthly trading activity, recording a total of $756.5 million. This marked a remarkable 194.4% increase compared to the previous month and surpassed the leading platform Blur’s trading volume of $530.4 million during the same period.
Based on a recent analysis from CoinGecko, Magic Eden experienced growth in part due to the introduction of its Diamond rewards system and its ongoing collaboration with NFT powerhouse Yuga Labs. Magic Eden saw significant expansion in March, marking its sixth straight month with an uptick in trading activity.

Yuga Labs, the innovative team behind the famous NFT collections Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), have transferred the rights to two of their games, HV-MTL and Legends of Mara, to gaming studio Faraway in the Web3 world.
The company’s decision was perceived as a step to free up the team and enable them to carry out their plans, aligning with past comments from CEO Greg Solano.
Man City and OKX release limited-edition jerseys tied to rare NFTs
Manchester City Football Club introduces a fresh NFT series for supporters, granting the chance to secure exclusive jerseys and match attendances as rewards.
In collaboration with cryptocurrency exchange OKX, Manchester City offers fans the opportunity to create NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) on their platform. The uniqueness of each NFT determines the possibility for its owner to win signed jerseys as a reward.
Christian Jeffrey, a skilled artist, has personally painted intricate designs on the jerseys. These designs showcase the Lancashire rose and the Manchester bee representing the hardworking people.
