As a researcher, I have closely observed and analyzed the price movements of various cryptocurrencies over the past week. Based on my findings, Fantom (FTM), Chainlink (LINK), and Bonk (BONK) emerged as the biggest winners, while Worldcoin (WLD), dogwifhat (WIF), and Ethena (ENA) suffered significant losses.


As a crypto investor, I’ve noticed that BONK continued to be among the top performing coins in the market for yet another week. On the other hand, LINK took a break from the limelight for quite some time but managed to bounce back and reappear on the radar.

Contrastingly, Worldcoin (WLD) experienced a disappointing week, placing it among the top losses, while Dogecoin failed to meet the requirements for being included in the list of weekly gains.

Biggest winners 

Fantom [FTM]

A examination of Fantom’s [FTM] price trend uncovered that it began the week at a low point but ultimately finished with an uptick. The value of this cryptocurrency was approximately $0.70 on May 12th. However, over the ensuing days, its price dipped further down to around $0.64.

From the 15th of May onwards, the price experienced a hike and settled back in the vicinity of $0.70 by the day’s end. Conclusively, it reached approximately $0.89 by the week’s end.

As a researcher analyzing cryptocurrency market trends, I’ve noticed an impressive surge in Fantom’s value. Specifically, based on data from CoinMarketCap, Fantom’s price has experienced a significant jump of approximately 26% over the last week, placing it among the highest gainers in the crypto sphere.

From my perspective as a researcher, at the point of composing this text, its price stood approximately at $0.89 on the market. Its market capitalization surpassed an impressive $2.5 billion figure, representing a noteworthy increase of more than 6%.

Chainlink [LINK]

According to AMBCrypto’s examination of the Chainlink (LINK) daily chart, the cryptocurrency started the week with a nearly 2% gain, peaking at approximately $13.50. Subsequently, its value decreased over the following two days, settling around $12.90.

I analyzed the price trends and found that the stock experienced two successive substantial jumps: a nearly 7% rise followed by close to 12% growth. Consequently, its value reached approximately $15.50. At the week’s end, the trading price had risen further to around $16.30.

Based on data from CoinMarketCap, Chainlink experienced a notable gain of approximately 23% in the previous week.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicated a strong bull trend, with an RSI of around 65.

Currently, Chainlink is priced at roughly $16.70 during this composition, representing a 2% rise, while its market capitalization hovers around $9.7 billion.

Bonk [BONK]

Bonk [BONK] was the third-biggest gainer of the week, with an approximate 21.4% increase over the last seven days.

Among all meme coins, it experienced the most substantial growth last week, shifting from being one of the top decliners to a top performer.

According to AMBCrypto’s analysis, BONK began the week priced around $0.000022. It reached a low of $0.000021 on May 13th, but following this dip, the token demonstrated a series of upward trends.

By the end of the week, it had risen to about $0.000026. 

At the point of composing this text, the value of BONK had risen to roughly $0.000028. The coin boasted a market capitalization of around $1.7 billion, marking a significant surge of over 12% within the preceding 24 hours.

Additionally, its trading volume exceeded $500 million, increasing over 150% in the last 24 hours.

Biggest losers

Worldcoin [WLD]

The price of Worldcoin (WLD) often rises after news from OpenAI, but this latest update did not bring about the same market response.

Last week, WLD recorded the largest loss among all stocks, amounting to more than 16%. Its daily chart revealed an encouraging 3% rise at the beginning of the week, pushing the price up to approximately $5.90.

I experienced a significant setback on May 13th when my crypto investment lost over 5.2% of its value. The downturn continued on the following day as an additional 15.28% was shaved off, leaving me with approximately $4.70 worth of investment. In the days that followed, I found it challenging to push the value back above the $5 mark.

Currently, the asset was priced around $4.90 during my composition of this text. The RSI signaled a downward trend as it fell beneath the neutral threshold.

WLD’s market cap was around $1 billion at press time, having declined by almost 1%.

dogwifhat [WIF]

As a crypto investor, I observed that Dogecoin (WIF) ranked as the second-largest weekly decliner, experiencing a setback of more than 13% based on the data provided by CoinMarketCap.

The price trend indicated that the cost was approximately $2.90 at the start of the week. It then increased to around $3.20 on May 13th. Unfortunately, it failed to sustain this growth and dropped back down to about $2.50 by the end of the week.

In the current moment, the price was hovering around $2.60. The market value stood at roughly $2.6 billion, representing a 6% decrease within the past 24 hours.

Ethena [ENA]

The ENA price chart display revealed a downward trend that persisted throughout the week. Sporadic upward movements failed to offset the overall effect of successive price drops.

The graph showed that ENA began the week priced around $0.80. By the week’s close, its price had dropped to roughly $0.75. Currently, it is down to approximately $0.73.

Based on data from CoinMarketCap, the value of ENA has dropped by more than 13.5% within the past week. At the point of this update, its market capitalization stood at approximately $1.1 billion.
