Spider-Man fans are anticipating the fourth Marvel Cinematic Universe film to feature a mix of familiar and new faces, including Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and Tombstone (Marvin Jones III). Highguard now available

Following the positive response to our trailer at The Game Awards, we’re excited to finally share what we mean by a player-versus-player raid shooter,” said Chad Grenier, co-founder and game director at Wildlight Entertainment. “Highguard offers a unique gameplay loop. Each match builds as players strengthen their base, explore the world, fight each other, and launch coordinated raids and defenses until only one base remains.”

Highguard is Out Now – Weapons, Bases, Raid Mechanics, and More Detailed in New Gameplay

In Highguard, players participate in “Raids” where the goal is to get the Stormbreaker and destroy the enemy team’s base. Before each match, you select from different base types, and then venture out to find improved weapons, armor, and equipment. You earn Vesper – the game’s currency – by mining, defeating opponents, and other activities, which you can then trade to Flynn for valuable rewards.

Highguard’s 2026 Roadmap Includes New Wardens, Bases, Mounts, and “Surprises”

The developers have big plans, according to their recently released roadmap. The game is currently launching with Episode 1. Next month, Episode 2 will begin rolling out, starting with a new playable character (Warden), a new map, a new mount, and a Ranked Mode. In March, they’ll add a new base and a tool for raids, giving players even more ways to strategize.

In the movie, a plan to defeat Thanos on Titan goes wrong when Quill learns Gamora is dead, and his reaction ultimately leads to devastating consequences – many fans believe his actions caused the loss of half the universe’s life. However, Pratt himself views the situation differently.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Finally Fixes a Targaryen Mistake That George R.R. Martin Complained About

HBO’s new show set in Westeros, co-created by George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker, is based on his Tales of Dunk and Egg stories. Fans should find it more faithful to the original books than Game of Thrones. The second episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms introduces the Targaryen family – Baelor, Maekar, Valarr, and Aerion – and reveals their family crest. Importantly, the three-headed dragon on the crest has only two legs, which is how Martin always envisioned it. While the first five seasons of Game of Thrones used a two-legged dragon, House of the Dragon switched to a four-legged version. Martin expressed his dissatisfaction with this change back in 2024, stating:
