‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2’s Filming Cancelation Ends the Annual Release Promise
As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear they were filming in Northern Ireland again – it just feels right for this world! Then they headed to Gran Canaria, Spain, to create the look of southern Westeros for Season 2, specifically the area known as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. But, sadly, they’ve hit some major delays due to incredibly heavy rainfall – apparently, the worst they’ve seen there in over ten years! It’s a real blow because a key part of the season’s story revolves around a long, harsh summer and a terrible drought affecting the Reach. It’s ironic, really – down in the Dornish Marches, someone’s probably uttering a somber “Summer is coming,” and it’s not a good thing at all!
