As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of gripping television series and someone who has weathered more than a few bachelor parties myself, I am beyond excited for the upcoming Stags on Paramount Plus! The synopsis alone promises a wild, darkly comic ride that’ll give even the most hardened genre buffs a run for their money.
In the upcoming six-episode series titled “Stags,” it’s uncertain whether the bachelor party (stag do) will end well or lead to a struggle for survival on a harsh and isolated island, potentially with tragic consequences for the groom-to-be and his friends.
In simpler terms, Sebastian Cardwell, Paramount’s second-in-command for content, hinted at an exhilarating, thrilling journey. Meanwhile, Carissa Hope Lynch, the show’s executive producer, complimented the unique and comically ominous scriptwriting.

Stags release date: When can I watch it?
Stags will arrive on Paramount Plus on Thursday 15th August.
Initially, you’ll find two episodes upon release, followed by a fresh episode each Thursday. In total, there will be six episodes in the series.

Stags plot: What’s it about?
As Stu and his closest friends embark on their stag trip in South America, they’re excitedly looking forward to a week filled with drinking, mischief, and laughter. However, their adventure takes an unexpectedly grim turn.
Instead of returning to the UK on a flight, the stags are instead confined to a lawless prison island ruled by feuding siblings, as stated in the official summary.
In no time, it’s evident that the deer must choose an alliance if they wish to survive. Long-standing bonds are strained, and even unwavering allegiance is put aside, as Stu and his group start doubting which ones among them will return safely.
