Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Release Date Announced for PS4 and Xbox One

As a long-time Star Wars enthusiast and someone who has been through countless console generations, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! Having played the latest installment last year, I can attest to the fact that Cal Kestis is one of the best new characters in the Star Wars universe during the Disney era.

As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I can hardly contain my excitement! In less than a month, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will grace our PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Initially announced soon after the second installment of the Star Wars Jedi series graced current-gen platforms last year, it was revealed that a port for older systems was under development as well.

According to a press statement, EA announced that “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” is scheduled for release on September 17th, available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Unlike the current-gen versions, these last-gen editions will be priced at $49.99 upon their launch. Pre-orders for “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” on these platforms are now open, and those who pre-order will receive the Hermit Cosmetic, Hermit Lightsaber Set, and Combustion Blaster Set as bonuses.

In my excitement as a devoted fan, I can’t help but share the latest updates on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor! EA has shared that this version boasts a host of enhancements designed to fully leverage the power of our beloved consoles. And for those of us playing on PC, there’s great news! A fresh update is on its way soon, promising significant performance upgrades, refined controls, and additional improvements across various features. I can hardly wait!

2023, I found myself immersed in the world of “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor“, a sequel that builds upon almost every essential aspect from “Fallen Order“. Despite some narrative pacing issues, Cal Kestis has become an even more captivating hero for me. He’s one of the best new Star Wars characters in this Disney era and I can hardly wait to see what Respawn does with him in a potential third installment. With a touch more refinement and a good trim of excess, “Jedi: Survivor” could have been a grand slam, but there’s still room for Respawn to grow.

Discussing a third title, it’s been confirmed by Respawn and EA that another game in the Star Wars Jedi saga is being developed. Since Jedi: Survivor was released just last year, however, it seems this upcoming installment is likely quite some time away.
