The prospect of a new Support hero, Juno, joining the fray is incredibly exciting.
The twelfth season of Overwatch 2, titled New Frontiers, commences on August 20th and introduces a fresh Support character named Juno. Blizzard Entertainment has recently unveiled a new trailer detailing the exciting features players can anticipate with this season, including novel skins and events. As a long-time fan of both Overwatch and Mythic Skins, I am absolutely thrilled about the latest announcement from the game developers. The newest Mythic Skin for Reaper, modeled after Anubis, is a perfect blend of my two favorite universes. This crossover event not only expands the lore but also adds an exciting new dimension to the gameplay experience.
The dynamics of competitive play are undergoing some updates, including a rank reset, enhanced “Avoid as Teammate” feature, and group respawn in Quick Play. Additionally, popular events such as MirrorWatch, April Fools, and others will make a comeback. Lastly, there’s a hint at a partnership with the character, the Lich King, from Warcraft.
Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
