As a longtime fan who has been through countless Sonic adventures and collected every Dreamcast game featuring our favorite speedsters, this Collector’s Edition of Sonic X Shadow Generations is nothing short of a dream come true! The Dreamcast statue alone makes it worth the investment, but add in the art book, steelbook case, official soundtrack, and collectible keychain, and I’m already reaching for my wallet.
“Sonic X Shadow Generations” is among the exciting things coming up for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog in the next few months. This release seems significant, and it appears Sega plans to honor it suitably. In collaboration with Limited Run Games, they’re releasing a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming enhanced remaster, and this special edition is expected to catch some eyes.
The standout feature in this bundle is a collectible statue of Sonic and Shadow, posed on a replica of the Dreamcast console they’re leaping from. This package will also contain an art book, a steelbook case, a special Dreamcast jewel case, the original soundtrack, a certificate of authenticity with a unique number, and as a bonus, a keychain featuring Sonic, Shadow, and Classic Sonic shoes.
In the meantime, the game offers additional perks such as flipside cover art and a 28-page notebook authored by Gerald Robotnik. The Collector’s Edition is priced at $249.99 and can be pre-ordered until October 6. Limited Run Games plans to deliver orders between October 25 and November 8.
The game titled “Sonic X Shadow Generations” is scheduled to debut on October 25th, and it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers (PC).
