Roger Ebert Was Wrong About This Sam Raimi-Produced Horror Movie

The film proved to be a financial success for Raimi, earning $187 million despite only costing $10 million to make. However, it received overwhelmingly negative reviews. Currently, it holds a 41% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, significantly less than the original’s 80%. Even renowned critic Roger Ebert was baffled by what he saw as a waste of resources. Despite the criticism, some wonder if the film was unfairly judged.

The X-Men Comics Have Completely Forgotten Wolverine’s Real Nemesis (But That’s Probably For The Best)

Romulus first appeared in Wolverine #55 (2003), but hints about his role began much earlier in Marvel Comics Presents #74, where he was a mysterious figure controlling the Weapon X program. He’s the one most responsible for everything Wolverine has gone through – even more so than Sabertooth or the other people involved with Weapon X. Romulus is the true architect of Wolverine’s suffering, a master manipulator who has largely been ignored by Marvel. And surprisingly, that’s probably a good thing.

Star Wars’ Most Important Character Will Never Get His Own Movie (But They Still Should)

Lucasfilm appears ready to reclaim its position as a box office leader with a promising lineup of new films. First up is The Mandalorian and Grogu, which will bring Din Djarin and his young companion to the big screen in an exciting new adventure, building on the success of the streaming series. Following that, Starfighter will offer another standalone story within the Star Wars universe. The studio is also showing a willingness to revisit beloved characters, with a project in development centered around Donald Glover’s Lando Calrissian. Daisy Ridley will return as Rey in a film focusing on rebuilding the Jedi Order. Interestingly, despite being one of the most iconic villains ever created, Darth Vader has never had his own movie—and it seems unlikely that will ever change.
