Wolf Man: Blumhouse Reboot Reveals First Promo Poster

Wolf Man: Blumhouse Reboot Reveals First Promo Poster

As a seasoned gamer with a knack for unraveling cinematic mysteries, I can’t help but feel a twinge of anticipation when it comes to Universal’s revamped take on “The Wolf Man.” My journey through countless horror games has left me with an uncanny sense of what makes the genre truly terrifying.

The promotion of Universal’s “The Wolf Man” movies is now in motion. Originally scheduled for release later this year, the movie has been rescheduled to January, providing Universal more opportunity to generate buzz about it. The promotional process has commenced with a fresh poster at Universal Studios for Halloween Horror Nights, marking the beginning of the promotional cycle.

The poster itself doesn’t reveal much, if anything, about the movie. On it is a lone farmhouse with a wraparound porch and the poster is flanked by a small activation packed full of hay bales. See the teaser for yourself below.

A chance to snap some pictures for the forthcoming Blumhouse Werewolf movie is now available at the Fanta Bar, situated in Lombard’s. Don’t forget to share your snaps using #HHN33 on HorrorNightsORL!

Initially, it was planned that Ryan Gosling would be the lead actor for the movie when Derek Cianfrance was still going to direct. However, both Gosling and Cianfrance have now been swapped with Christopher Abbott and Leigh Whannel as the new director and lead actor respectively.

Ryan Gosling mentioned to Collider that he’d be up for any activity with Derek, but the prospect of doing something so unique is particularly thrilling. He added, “It’s uncharted territory for us both, yet it feels somewhat familiar. In a way, it seems like we’ve made this movie before, just in a symbolic sense. We’ve often created its metaphorical version, and now we have the chance to bring its literal interpretation to life – something we’ve been subtly working towards.”

The reboot of Whannel’s “The Invisible Man” earned a total of $144.5 million globally, with an initial production budget of only $7 million. This impressive performance led to a 92% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Due to the film’s success, Universal decided to change their approach and instead of continuing with the Dark Universe, they began producing a series of independent, standalone movies.

The movie titled “Wolf Man” is scheduled for release in theaters on January 17, 2025. If you’re eager to watch it right away, you can now rent or purchase it at any place where films are rented and sold.
