Rich Homie Quan – a renowned rap artist recognized for hits such as “Ride Out” and “Type of Way” – passed away on September 5, according to a family member and a representative from the Fulton County Morgue who confirmed to TMZ on the same date. He was just 34 years old

Quan, whose genuine name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, passed away in his Atlanta residence. His family informed TMZ that they’re devastated and deeply saddened by his unexpected demise, and they will be seeking explanations

The investigation surrounding Quan’s death is still ongoing, per TMZ.

Boosie expressed, “We’ve created some fantastic memories together that always put a smile on my face. #R.I.P Quan, we were cooking up some stuff too.”
