As a long-time fan of My Hero Academia, I have seen the series evolve from a quirky coming-of-age story to a gripping tale of heroism and camaraderie. The latest episode of Season 7 was nothing short of remarkable, especially for Gentle Criminal enthusiasts like myself.
In the heat of My Hero Academia Season 7, we find ourselves in the midst of the climactic battle between heroes and villains. The latest episode of the anime has reintroduced the character Gentle Criminal, playing a crucial role in a dramatic rescue scene. The Culture Festival arc, a significant chapter in My Hero Academia’s past, is often debated among fans. While it does lay groundwork for future themes, some viewers felt underwhelmed by the finale of the arc, where the confrontation between Izuku Midoriya and the main villains, Gentle Criminal and La Brava, seemed less intense than anticipated.
But as fans have seen through the massive war with the villains thus far, My Hero Academia has seen some major changes to Japan and the status quo as the heroes have lost many lives in the fight against the villains thus far. It’s led them to operating outside of their normal means, and it’s revealed to have led to some surprising team ups with some of the foes from the past. This all comes to a head in the latest episode, however, as Gentle and La Brava quite literally save the flying U.A. Academy battlefield from crashing to the ground.

My Hero Academia: Gentle Saves The Day
16th episode of Season 7 in My Hero Academia uncovers an event a month before the final battle: Gentle, previously imprisoned at Tartarus, managed to break free alongside other inmates during the prison’s assault. However, instead of joining the escaping prisoners, Gentle chose to change his ways and confront Deku. Remarkably, among all the escapees, only Gentle did not participate in any successful escape attempts during the ensuing confusion.
In this location, Tsukauchi and the authorities chose to collaborate with both Gentle and La Brava. These two individuals played a crucial part in the strategy. When the floating U.A. Academy battlefield was hacked, it was ultimately La Brava who regained control and managed to prevent it from collapsing for the most part. However, it was Gentle who turned out to be the savior by extending his quirk across the entirety of the falling U.A. Academy battlefield, keeping it aloft until it avoided a crash. Moved by Deku’s bravery, Gentle at last had the chance to fulfill his dream of being a selfless hero who assists others.
