For much of their duration, The Usual Suspects is a solid crime mystery and The Sixth Sense is a decent supernatural horror film. What truly elevates these movies are their endings. Unlike films like Arrival, The Mist, or Fight Club, the stories of The Usual Suspects and The Sixth Sense aren’t particularly groundbreaking until after the major twist is revealed. Conversely, many well-crafted movies with compelling stories and characters can be let down by predictable twists, as seen in Thanksgiving, The Dark Knight Rises, and No Time To Die.

I was really disappointed with Crimson Desert, as you might guess from the title of this article. It’s a terrible feeling when something you’re incredibly excited about turns out to be a letdown, and that’s exactly how I felt. I was so hyped for this game, and the initial experience was truly awful – I was staring at my TV at 1 AM, completely baffled by the opening. While the beginning is one of the worst I’ve ever seen, I want to encourage others to push through it, because the game gets much better. I’m glad I stuck with it, and I hope you will too.

Zoe Tunnell, along with artists V Gagnon and Tesslyn Bergin, created Seven Wives, a new comic about two detectives investigating a death within a remote Arizona compound of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The investigation quickly leads them into a disturbing mystery involving brainwashing, and the comic promises a thrilling whodunit with plenty of unexpected twists. ComicBook recently spoke with Tunnell and editor Riley Farmer about the launch of this exciting new crime comic series and what readers can anticipate.

Released in 2002, Road to Perdition is considered one of Tom Hanks’ finest performances. This film, adapted from the DC Comics graphic novel of the same name, takes place during the Great Depression. It tells the story of Michael Sullivan, a mob enforcer played by Hanks, and his son as they pursue revenge on the man who killed their family. The movie boasts an impressive cast, including Jude Law, Stanley Tucci, Daniel Craig, and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and features Paul Newman’s final on-screen theatrical role. Newman received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his performance. Road to Perdition will be available to stream on Peacock starting April 1st.

The latest episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Sendai Colony,” has received an incredibly high rating of 9.9 out of 10 on IMDb, according to anime fans. This isn’t unusual for the MAPPA-produced series, as many episodes consistently score above a 9. Earlier in season three, episodes like “Perfect Preparation” and “Tokyo No.1 Colony Part 3” both surpassed 9.5 stars, but none have reached the same level of acclaim as the season finale. While the rating could change over time, as of now, “Sendai Colony” is the highest-rated installment of Jujutsu Kaisen.
