Apple Changes Release Date For 99% Rated Sci-Fi Show Last Minute

Apple TV+’s new series, Pluricus, created by Vince Gilligan (known for Better Call Saul), usually releases episodes on Fridays. The first two episodes premiered on November 7th, with subsequent episodes arriving on November 14th and 21st. Apple TV surprised fans with an announcement on social media that the fifth episode would be available two days ahead of schedule, on Wednesday, November 26th. The announcement was playfully addressed to a fan named Carol, stating they’d be seeing her ‘a little bit earlier than normal’ and expressing excitement for the Wednesday release.

Cancelled Shonen Jump Series Shares First Look At Final Volume

The release dates announced are for the Japanese editions of the manga only; there’s currently no word on whether English versions will be available. Creator Jun Harukawa shared the cover art for the final volume on his official X account, featuring the character Chiyou. The covers for both volumes were designed together to highlight the series’ two main characters. Along with the cover reveal, Harukawa thanked readers for their support. Many fans following Shonen Jump were disappointed when the manga was unexpectedly canceled, but the author continues to receive encouragement, especially after mentioning a potential return to WSJ in a note accompanying the final chapter.
