As a dedicated Dragon Ball fan who has been following the adventures of Son Goku since his humble beginnings, I am beyond excited for the upcoming premiere of Dragon Ball Daima! It’s been six long years since we last saw our beloved hero on screen, and the anticipation has been building up like a Kamehameha wave. The English dub trailer gives us a sneak peek into what’s to come, and I must say, it sounds like Stephanie Naldony will do an outstanding job as Goku Mini!

We’re back, Dragon Ball fans! In case you missed it, we’re just under a month away from the comeback of Son Goku. On October 11, get ready as Dragon Ball Super brings the anime back on TV screens. This ambitious project signals the start of a new chapter in the main series, so the anticipation for Dragon Ball Super is enormous. The first English dubbed trailer has recently been released, and it gives life to Goku’s fresh voice.

The trailer, hailing from Toei Animation, offers a sneak peek into the vibe of the upcoming English version of Dragon Ball Daima. This teaser doesn’t contain any fresh footage, but it does lend credence to a popular fan theory. With Dragon Ball introducing Goku Mini, there has been much curiosity about how the hero would be voiced in the anime. The new voiceover certainly gives off a youthful vibe, implying that a new actor will be needed for the English dub.

It seems like Goku Mini’s voice actor, Stephanie Naldony, bears a strong resemblance to Goku’s voice, leading fans to speculate that she might be the new Goku in the anime. Notably, Stephanie voiced Kid Goku in the original Dragon Ball series and reprised her role in Dragon Ball GT. However, Toei Animation has not disclosed the official English dub cast list for this production yet. But, eagle-eyed fans have already identified Naldony’s voice.

When Does Dragon Ball Daima Premiere?

What to Expect From Dragon Ball Daima

Regarding the upcoming anime series, Dragon Ball Daima, Son Goku finds himself in a tricky situation. Although the exact timeline hasn’t been confirmed, it seems that the story occurs after the Majin Buu saga but prior to Dragon Ball Super. Throughout the show, we follow Goku and his friends as they face an unforeseen threat: a malicious wish from rogue entities. Characters freed from the Demon Realm will invade Earth and utilize the dragon balls to grant themselves a wish, transforming Goku and his allies into miniature versions of their original forms. It’s up to Goku to undo this wish by reclaiming the relics once more. His quest takes him on a journey through the Demon Realm.

The upcoming anime signifies the series’ debut since Dragon Ball Super ended in 2018, and with fans eagerly awaiting Son Goku’s return for six years, his latest appearance on screen is an unmissable event. If Naldony voices the protagonist again, it seems that Goku Mini will once more capture our attention in a grand manner.
