Kendra Wilkinson Teases Return to Reality TV After Girls Next Door

As a devoted follower of Kendra Wilkinson‘s journey, I am thrilled to see her making a comeback to reality TV after her successful foray into real estate. With 15 years separating us from her time on “The Girls Next Door,” Kendra has undeniably grown and evolved, but her love for sharing her life with the world remains unchanged.

Kendra Wilkinson’s return to reality TV appears to be pending.

Though it’s been 15 years since my stint on “The Girls Next Door,” I stepped into a new chapter by venturing into real estate in 2020, but rest assured, I haven’t shut the door entirely on inviting cameras back into my life.

She shared with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi on September 26 at DirecTV’s Gets Real red carpet that she has two projects in the works which she’ll be disclosing within a few weeks. “I enjoy television work,” she added, “so I have no plans to stop. It’s all about finding the perfect idea.” (Don’t forget to catch more from Kendra tonight on TopMob News, Sept. 30.)

In regard to the question about potentially appearing on a series like Selling Sunset, she mentioned, “That’s entertaining, but I currently have two other projects I’m involved with that promise to be just as enjoyable for the viewers.

Although Kendra hasn’t revealed the details just yet, she hinted at exploring romance on camera. “Funny enough,” she shared, “you haven’t seen me date before. There’s a new show idea we’re developing that I can’t wait to unveil to you all.

This is not to say the return to the genre will be easy. In fact, the former Playboy Playmate joked that attending the carpet was like going back to her 20s.

Day after day, immersed in the world of real estate, it’s rare for me to experience the same level of excitement as walking down the red carpet,” she shared. “But now, I find myself in a different universe altogether! It’s as if I’ve stepped off Earth and into another galaxy. I’m not tuning into my favorite TV shows, no movies or reality series are catching my attention these days.

Rather than that, Kendra is relishing this phase of motherhood with her sons Hank Baskett Jr., who’s 14, and daughter Alijah Baskett, aged 10. These children are the ones she had together with her former spouse, Hank Baskett.

She enthusiastically expressed that her children are flourishing and bring the best aspects to her life. It may sound cliché when others say it, but truly, her kids are exceptional individuals. They enrich her life with joy, fun, excitement, and love.

She joked, “Everything else is like a work in progress. Being a mom is a work in progress.”

To put it simply, the alumna from Kendra on Top expressed that her children appear to be more self-assured than she felt she was at their current age.

She remarked, “My children are quite different from how I was as a teenager, thankfully. I’ve made sure to impart on them all they need and even more, so they wouldn’t turn out like my teenage self. I was rather wild, from 13 until now at age 39; it’s only recently that I’ve started maturing.

Since their divorce in 2018 following nine years of marriage, Kendra has remarked on the smoothness of her co-parenting with Hank, a former NFL player. This harmony has given her more time to focus on her personal growth, particularly as she recovers from recent mental health challenges.

Kendra expressed to TopMob News in June 2023 that she and Hank are doing well with co-parenting. She added that their children are very content, but she’s currently navigating through self-discovery, acknowledging it’s a challenging journey. She admitted that she’s spending a lot of time understanding herself better at the moment.
