This month, Marvel is expanding its shared universe by bringing back Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. This will officially introduce her character into the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new season is a milestone for Marvel Studios, as it’s the first project to include characters originally from the Netflix Defenders series.

Actor Aaron Pierre is expected to appear in the next Superman movie, following his first role as a Green Lantern in the upcoming HBO Max series ‘Lanterns,’ set to premiere in August 2026. ‘Lanterns’ will show his character learning the ropes as a Green Lantern, with Kyle Chandler playing his mentor, Hal Jordan. When the Superman sequel arrives, Pierre’s character will likely be a more seasoned hero prepared to fight alongside Superman (according to The Hollywood Reporter).
