Throne & Liberty: Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle Guide | Nightmare Deja Vu

As someone who’s spent countless hours navigating the mystical realms of Throne & Liberty, I must say, the Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle has left me with quite the deja vu feeling! This puzzle, though seemingly simple on paper, can be as tricky as a lycan in the moonlight.

Eventually, during the “Nightmare Déjà Vu” quest in Throne & Liberty, you’ll have to traverse the Lycan’s Hall. However, this implies that you must figure out the Lunar Enigma or Moon Puzzle along the way.

The Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle is fairly simple, on paper. You just need to match different phases of the moon to reveal the full moon. However, the puzzle can be a bit trickier and jankier than you might expect.

Worry not, though, our guide will help you solve the Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle with ease!

As a captivated fan, I’d say: To kick off the intriguing Nightmare Déjà Vu quest’s Lunar Riddle within Throne & Liberty’s Lycan’s Hall, approach the radiant Full Moonstone that sits at its heart.

To solve this puzzle, collect the “half-moons, one yellow and one blue, when amassed” as indicated, and the full moon will be reawakened! Take a gander at the picture above to get an idea of what these half-moon pieces resemble.

Immediately upon activating the Full Moonstone, a cluster of glowing blue and yellow moons will orbit around you and head towards the nearby Incantation Pillars. This is much like the classic shell game. Focus on either the blue or yellow crescents as they appear, and remember the pillar where they finally come to rest. Importantly, their landing spots are chosen at random, so keep your focus sharp during the gameplay.

After the Incantation Pillars have ceased their movement, you can approach either the yellow or blue crescent moon symbol. You don’t need to choose one over the other initially. Interact with the Incantation Pillar at your chosen location to obtain the corresponding piece. Keep in mind that the pillars will start moving again later, so remember where the remaining half-moon piece is located and retrieve it when the pillars have stopped once more.

If you get this correct, you’ll finish the initial stage of the Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle with success!

Second Phase – Matching Pairs

After wrapping up the initial stage of the puzzle, I had a chat with Clay. Then, I approached the Full Moonstone once more to kick off the second phase. The moon fragments were scattered across six distinct Incantation Pillars that lined the edges of the Lycan’s Hall. By adopting a Morph form, I was able to uncover the hidden moon pieces on these pillars and found an additional moon piece, which magically appeared above my character’s head.

In this task, you’re intended to align the moon symbol positioned above you with those on the Incantation Pillars. The arrangement should form a complete moon using both yellow and blue symbols. Here’s a concise guide showing all possible moon piece combinations:

  • Blue First Quarter + Yellow Last Quarter
  • Blue Waning Gibbous (2/3) + Yellow Last Quarter
  • Blue Waning Crescent + Yellow Waxing Gibbous (2/3)

In this magical gaming world, the pieces I’m given and their placements on the Incantation Pillars are shuffled each time, but no worries! A simple use of any Morph form lets me view them clearly. However, be alert because there’s a sneaky timer for the puzzle – speed is key! And remember to watch your steps on those stairs; if you climb too high, the game might mistakenly think I’ve left the area, and it’ll reset the puzzle.

Complete all the moon-related combinations in the Lycan’s Hall Moon Puzzle for the “Nightmare Déjà Vu” quest in Throne & Liberty. Once Clay instructs you, simply interact with the Full Moonstone one last time to finish up.
