In 2018, Jack Black collaborated with horror director Eli Roth on a family-friendly horror film called The House with a Clock in Its Walls. Recently available for streaming on Netflix since March 3rd, the movie lets viewers revisit the story. Based on John Bellairs’s 1973 novel, it stars Black alongside Cate Blanchett as a young orphan named Lewis who goes to live with his uncle. When Lewis discovers his uncle is a warlock and unintentionally revives a dangerous sorcerer, they—along with a neighbor—must find a powerful clock hidden inside the house to stop a catastrophic event.

The animated series Invincible has released a first look at season four, revealing it will expand beyond the story of Damien Darkblood to feature a wider range of heroes and villains. Clancy Brown will reprise his role, and Matthew Rhys, Lee Pace, and Danai Gurira will join the cast as the villains Dinosaurus, Thragg, and Universa.
