Released in 2002, Blinx: The Time Sweeper was a unique platformer famously marketed as the “World’s First 4-D Action Game.” Players control Blinx, a cat on a mission to save the world and a princess. He uses a special vacuum cleaner, the TS-1000, to manipulate time – slowing it down, speeding it up, recording, reversing, or even stopping it altogether. Despite having a memorable character, solid gameplay, and a lot of potential, the series only got one sequel, Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space, in 2004. The Blinx franchise disappeared after that, but it would be a great candidate for a modern remake.

It’s unusual for a sitcom to end with an unresolved cliffhanger. Most sitcoms are inexpensive to make and have a planned trajectory, allowing them to wrap up neatly, as seen with shows like Seinfeld, Cheers, and The Big Bang Theory. However, forty years ago today, on April 19, 1986, the show Benson broke that mold, ending its seventh season on a cliffhanger. Sadly, the series was canceled before the storyline could be resolved, leaving viewers shocked and without closure. Fortunately, we now know what the original plan for the ending was.

Fans loved Fullmetal Alchemist so much that finding another anime quite like it has been difficult. While many shows have tried to reach the same level of quality, most haven’t succeeded. Those hoping for a sequel or similar series didn’t realize they were actually waiting for a new story by the same creator. Eleven years after Fullmetal Alchemist concluded, Hiromu Arakawa released a new manga called Daemons of the Shadow Realm. In Spring 2026, Bones Film—the studio behind the original Fullmetal Alchemist—adapted it into an anime, and it quickly became the top-ranked anime in Japan, according to multiple reports.

Although the idea of a PlayStation 6 is exciting, I believe launching one next year would be a mistake. I usually like to see new PlayStation consoles released quickly, but in this case, I think Sony would be better off waiting a bit longer before releasing the PS6.
