Kelly Osbourne's Fashion Evolution Is Quite the Wild Ride

As a fashion enthusiast who has spent countless hours poring over magazines and runway shows, I must admit that Kelly Osbourne’s red carpet transformations have been nothing short of captivating. From her Southern Style event LBD to her sleek and chic blue Zac Posen gown at the Golden Globes, each outfit tells a story of her evolution as a style icon.

Kelly Osbourne has never been one to mince f–king words.

After having a 23-month-old son named Sidney with Slipknot musician boyfriend Sid Wilson has profoundly changed every aspect of Kelly, as she herself stated on Today last May. Now, she no longer spends time worrying about others’ opinions, especially when it comes to her fashion choices.

Not that she let it stress her out all that much before.

She stated in her 2012 interview on ‘Today’, “Not everyone will appreciate every outfit someone else wears.” Instead, she suggested, wear whatever makes you feel good. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter what others, including me, think about your clothing choices.

For Kelly, some days might call for a classic black ensemble (jeans, heels, and a biker jacket) or a more feminine choice like the ivory midi dress from Nicky Hilton’s collaboration with Rebecca Vallance, which made the host of “The Osbournes Podcast” feel quite feminine.

In the midstream of their lives, the children of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne and America’s Got Talent alum Sharon Osbourne have consistently followed their instincts over the years.

She recalled in 2014 to Coveteur that from childhood, she had a clear sense of her style. “As a kid in Santa Monica, I remember seeing a green suit at Fred Segal that made me look like a dancing broccoli,” she said. “It had a waistcoat and was quite serious. I begged my mom for it, but she thought it was smelly, gross, and not for me. Despite its cost, we ended up buying it, and I still own it today.

So no surprise her advice to the outlet was to dress however the f–k you want.

She suggested that you should wear the item because it boosts your confidence rather than just making you feel great. She also emphasized that you shouldn’t wear it with the expectation of attracting someone else. If something doesn’t appeal to you, there’s no obligation to wear it. Furthermore, if others dislike what you wear, their opinion doesn’t matter as they don’t have to wear it themselves.

And Kelly, meanwhile, will be rocking everything from sequined pants to a ruffled frock.

She confessed, as she glanced over old photos, “Wow, look at that!” These images reflect her twenty years in the spotlight. That’s what’s exciting about fashion; it allows you to present yourself as the person you aspire to be through your wardrobe choices.

Mark the special occasion of her 40th birthday on October 27th by exploring all the unique personalities she’s showcased on the red carpet.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d rephrase that as: “In my own style journey, I channeled the essence of grunge beauty when I sported a sharp bob and intensely alluring eye makeup, signing copies of my inaugural album, ‘Shut Up,’ at Tower Records in the heart of Los Angeles.
