The streamer plans to start with these two titles, turning Mistborn into a movie and Stormlight Archive into a TV series. The deal, described by The Hollywood Reporter as “unprecedented,” gives Sanderson a remarkable level of creative control. He will not only write and produce these adaptations, but also serve as a consultant and have final approval over how his stories are brought to the screen.
