In the soap opera, EastEnders, the characters Balvinder Sopal, known as Suki Panesar, and Heather Peace’s character, Eve Unwin, have broken up once more. This separation follows disclosures about secrets Suki had kept hidden from her beloved partner.
This week on BBC One’s soap opera, Eve will be uncovering some surprising truths that have been kept hidden. The revelations come after she discovered Suki had allowed her abusive ex-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) to reside in their home, and also learned of a religious blessing for their relationship.
On Tuesday, a vindictive Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris) unveiled the genuine facts to Eve about Suki: She was being coerced by Nish because she had hidden the truth that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was responsible for Keanu Taylor’s murder.
On hump day, Eve confronted Suki and Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) in the Panesar residence, a situation that was quite intense. She disclosed that she was aware of all the secrets, subsequently asking Stacey to leave so they could address their friendship issues at a later time after conversing with Suki.
Suki explained the ins and outs of the lies and revealed she hid all of The Six’s plans from Eve in a bid to protect her, but Eve replied that she only wanted the truth from Suki and not protection.
In explaining her reasons to Nish for taking the blame for Keanu’s murder on Suki’s behalf, Suki also expressed her deep affection for Eve. Regrettably, the truth of her deceptions proved too much for her soulmate to accept, causing him to leave.
As Stacey neared the tipsy Bernie inside the Queen Vic pub, she warned him that if he didn’t stop hiding the truth about Keanu’s murder from the families of The Six, she would reveal his knowledge to Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) and potentially cause additional distress.
Later on, Eve discussed things in depth with Stacey at her home, expressing the deep sense of betrayal she experienced. In response, Stacey clarified that she felt it was not appropriate for her to disclose what transpired. Stacey further emphasized that while their marriage had ended and lacked romantic feelings, it remained her most cherished one yet.
Later, Stacey spoke up in support of Suki’s actions, calling out Nish for his controlling manipulations in all situations. She also raised the question if it was right for Eve to discard something as a result.
At last, upon their return to the Panesar residence, Suki openly declared her love for Eve and expressed her regret. However, Eve couldn’t find it within herself to forgive the deceit and took off her engagement ring.
Later, Eve disclosed that she was planning to relocate and, at the moment, found it difficult to be near Stacey as well. Consequently, she made up her mind to travel to Brighton.
As Eve headed upstairs to pack her things, Suki was left heartbroken at the bottom of the stairs.

Indeed, as a devoted follower of Heather Peace’s portrayal of Eve Unwin, I must admit a sense of worry has arisen within me upon learning that Eve decided to leave for Brighton following her disagreements with both Suki and Stacey.
Despite no official confirmation about her departure or character, Peace has been spotted in social media posts related to filming activities around the New Year.
