MachineGames, known for their work on Wolfenstein, are developing a fresh Indiana Jones narrative, originally conceptualized by Todd Howard, who oversees Fallout and Elder Scrolls. This project was developed in partnership with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and it continues the story of Indiana Jones post-Raiders of the Lost Ark. The iconic archaeologist (portrayed by Troy Baker) embarks on a journey centered around the enigmatic Great Circle, a series of mystifying locations forming a perfect circle on a map. Naturally, the Nazis and other malevolent factions are also chasing after relics and power linked to this site. One of Xbox’s most significant exclusive titles this generation, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set for release on PS5 in the spring as well.
With that said, Xbox and PC players can get on the action very soon. Although the full release is on Monday, December 9th, you can play the game much sooner. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass owner, you can pay an extra $34.99 to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle three days early starting on Friday, December 6th. This will upgrade your copy to the Digital Premium Edition which also gives you the game’s Order of the Giants DLC when it releases, Indy’s Temple of Doom outfit, and a digital artbook. If you’re not a Game Pass subscriber or want to own the entire game, you can also get this edition with a copy of the game itself for $99.99.
At the moment, the exact release time for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle through early access hasn’t been definitively decided. It could be midnight, or it could be 10AM; it depends on each individual case when it comes to early access.
