To All the XO Kitty Fans: Noah Centineo Appears in Season 2 Trailer

As a film enthusiast with a keen interest in literature and a soft spot for period dramas, I find myself utterly thrilled by the upcoming adaptations of classic novels. The reimagining of Emily Brontë’s “Wuthering Heights” by Emerald Fennell is particularly intriguing, given her knack for delivering unexpected twists in storytelling, much like a Yorkshire moor shrouded in mystery.

Whoa whoa whoa—Peter Kavinsky is coming to Korea!

Fans who were disappointed that Noah Centineo and Lana Condor weren’t appearing together in the “XO Kitt” spinoff series have some good news: Noah will be returning to play his role as Lara Jean Covey’s boyfriend in the second season of the show, which premieres on January 16.

In the trailer released on December 17th, viewers noticed a brief appearance of an actor from The Recruit series, while Kitty (portrayed by Anna Cathcart) expresses her concerns about her life situation at the fictional Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS), as it was depicted in season one.

When she joined KISS, it was as if I had never felt more out of place, she admits. But fortunately, there’s no comparison to the comfort that comes from a familiar face from home.

The scene cuts to several of the show’s cast members saying “What?” before Kitty exclaims, “Peter!”

In a brief moment, Peter strides towards Kitty on the KISS campus, donning a Stanford sweatshirt as a hint at the ending of his character’s story in ‘To All The Boys’. He embraces her warmly, flashing an enormous smile.

In another clip, Peter gives Kitty a pep talk.

“You are Kitty Song freakin’ Covey,” he says. “Don’t you forget it.”

Unfortunately, Lara Jean, played by Lana, isn’t seen in the trailer, but the actress hinted at her potential return to the series. Her character had concluded the previous film studying at New York University as a freshman.

As an ardent devotee, let me assure you, I’ve never ruled out the possibility of revisiting Lara Jean in 2023. After all, it seems quite evident that I hold the world of “To All the Boys” close to my heart and have invested a significant chunk of my young adult life into it. To put it simply, this world feels like home to me.

In a heartfelt manner, Noah bid farewell to the character following the completion of the third “To All The Boys” movie, making his subsequent appearance even more unexpected.

As I bid farewell to the character of Peter Kavinsky, I penned this heartfelt message in a 2019 update on X. Here’s hoping everyone enjoys these final chapters as much as we did creating them! Gratitude will forever echo for the chance to be a part of your story.

Additionally, fans of the movie “To All the Boys” will undoubtedly rejoice at seeing Jenny Han’s original character reappear, but it’s important to note that there are numerous other captivating fictional characters gracing our TV screens as well.

Why we’re Excited: With Nicole Kidman in the cast, can it really be called a limited series if she’s not there? But with Kidman on board, this eight-episode series has definitely moved up our must-watch list.
