As someone who has been navigating the digital frontier for the past decade, I must say that this roundup of crypto events is nothing short of mind-boggling! From Michael Saylor’s potential $100K Bitcoin bash to in-person gatherings across cities like Detroit and Miami, it seems that the world of blockchain is truly coming into its own.
As the holiday season approaches, the surge in Bitcoin (BTC) prices is at its peak. Consequently, several Web3 firms are preparing grand events to celebrate.
This holiday season, don’t miss out on the unforgettable crypto events happening both at live gatherings throughout the USA and virtual celebrations within the metaverse!
Blockchain bash in Atlanta with a Bitcoin giveaway
The Atlanta Blockchain Center is hosting a holiday party this year for A-Town’s Web3 community.
The gathering is scheduled for December 19th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM (Eastern Standard Time), at the Atlanta Blockchain Center. This event will be filled with networking opportunities, engaging trivia contests, and an exciting Bitcoin raffle as part of the festivities.
Marlon Williams, creator of both the Atlanta Blockchain Center and Starter Labs, shared with CryptoMoon that the upcoming event offers a $500 Bitcoin raffle and an opportunity to secure “exclusive Trump-themed crypto president sneakers,” worth approximately $1,000.
Williams added that events hosted by the Atlanta Blockchain Center event typically attract between 50 to 150 attendees. Yet given the festive nature of the gathering — and the bullish upswing in crypto markets — Williams anticipates a robust turnout this year. Williams added:
These meetings not only provide opportunities for sharing knowledge, guidance, and fostering connections – both professional and personal – but they also help build a stronger community bond and expand shared understanding.
”More IRL relationships — rather than the pseudonymous nature Satoshi spearheaded — is desperately needed in the crypto space and we are living proof!”

Jonathan G. Blanco, head of Niftmint (founder and CEO), expressed to CryptoMoon that the event is a “commemoration of creativity, teamwork, and the bonds that propel the cryptocurrency world ahead.
As a researcher, I’m thrilled to share that our gathering promises engaging discussions, delightful culinary delights, and exciting crypto-themed surprises. Having organized events during both market uptrends (bull markets) and downtrends (bear markets), it’s particularly heartwarming to celebrate the holiday season with fellow enthusiasts as we witness the rise of cryptocurrencies!

Michael Saylor’s New Year’s Eve Bitcoin extravaganza
It is possible that Michael Saylor, the founder of MicroStrategy and a Bitcoin advocate, could be throwing a New Year’s Eve celebration at his residence in Miami this coming year.
Last month, Saylor declared on CNBC that he’s arranging a “New Year’s Eve Bitcoin Bash” worth $100,000 at his residence.
He mentioned that he’s organizing a celebration when Bitcoin reaches $100,000, and he believes it’s likely to happen around New Year’s Eve at his home. He found it hard to imagine that we won’t hit the $100K mark by November or December, as he shared with the cable news network in November.
It’s expected that the guest list for the event will stay confidential, but people interested in cryptocurrency are using social media platform X in an attempt to secure an invitation.
It’s quite possible that this could be the most significant crypto event of the year, if indeed Saylor goes ahead with the Bitcoin celebration worth $100,000.
Holidays in the metaverse
This year, various cities are hosting in-person cryptocurrency get-togethers. Meanwhile, festivities within the metaverse will equally attract many participants as well.
Decentralized virtual worlds such as The Sandbox and Decentraland could potentially encourage authentic digital interactions among users, offering engaging methods for participating in online events.
According to Sebastien Borget, the creator of The Sandbox, the platform will be holding its third “Season’s Greetings” event from December 18th, 2024, to January 31st, 2025. This information was shared with CryptoMoon.
The collection includes twenty games developed by popular brands such as ‘The Smurfs’ and ‘ITV’s I Am A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’. Players are invited to embark on quests to claim a share from the 300,000 SAND reward pool, along with a Mystery Box filled with unique prizes.
These might encompass uncommon items such as a Bored Ape Non-Fungible Token (NFT), a Pudgy Penguin NFT, or an avatar for use in The Sandbox game from collaborative collections like Nuclear Blast’s Blastheads, Paris Hilton, Rabbids Rockstars, and The Doggies.
Borget mentioned that The Sandbox is planning a lively New Year’s Eve celebration from December 31, 2024 to January 2, 2025, within the energetic Club XYZ. This event will take place virtually.
During the Season’s Greetings event, players can finish tasks that contribute to their progress, listen to tunes spun by guest DJs, and experience additional features,” Borget explained.
