However, the house proves to be more perilous than Momo initially anticipated. Following Momo’s hasty exit from the hot spring, Old Turbo shares with her that the house has been stained with blood. It won’t surprise followers that the Kito Family will take on an antagonistic role during this storyline. As events unfold, it’s disclosed that for the past 200 years, the Kito Family has been making human sacrifices to a strange local deity known as Tsuchinoko. The villagers view it as their protector, but the reality is quite different – the victims are those who find love within the house.
In just a short while, she understands that Jiji and his kin are the current targets. Unfortunately, Okarun meets the same fate as a sacrifice when the Kito family spots him. This action-packed segment will further unveil the spirit dwelling in Jiji’s home. The storyline kicks off in Chapter 28, spanning over 23 chapters in total.
