Following the events of season 3, The Mandalorian and Grogu finds Din Djarin and Grogu working as bounty hunters for the New Republic. They’re assigned to track down and capture or eliminate Imperial officials who haven’t faced justice after the Empire’s fall. Reporting to Commander Ward (Sigourney Weaver), and joined by Zeb (voiced by Steven Blum), a popular character from Star Wars: Rebels, they travel the galaxy on a mission to save Jabba the Hutt’s son, Rotta (Jeremy Allen White), and defeat a powerful, unknown Imperial leader.

The game was a solo action-adventure title led by Stig Asmussen, a well-known developer who previously directed games like God of War 3 and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Given his experience, the project clearly had a lot of promise.

According to a company representative, the decision came after a careful review of the project’s progress. They also emphasized that the company continues to value its working relationship with Stig Asmussen, the head of Giant Skull studio and a respected figure in the industry.

The newly formed studio, Cosmic Division, is developing its debut game – a story-driven, single-player experience focused on compelling gameplay. The game is planned for release on both PC and consoles, meaning a PlayStation version is likely, potentially even for the PS6 by the time it launches.
