Hey everyone, I’m Keiichiro Toyama, and I run Bokeh Game Studio. We finally released our first game, Slitterhead, last November. Honestly, we were asking ourselves if we could actually pull it off – could we build a game, with this team, and the way we wanted to work? Getting Slitterhead out there feels like we’ve answered that question, and now we’re really ready to get started!

Our team is building a truly massive city – the largest we’ve ever created for a game. It’s incredibly detailed and complex, far exceeding anything we’ve done before. Because Tokyo is so expansive, with its roads, buildings, plants, and varied terrain, we needed a dedicated team just to bring it to life in Forza Horizon. It’s a huge environment that demanded its own focused development effort.

Zack Snyder recently posted on Instagram a behind-the-scenes photo of himself with actor Nathan Fillion, who was wearing a motion capture suit for his role as Green Lantern. The post also included an image of Fillion’s character, John Stewart, in his Green Lantern uniform. This came at a time when the trailer for the upcoming Lanterns series received criticism online. Fans quickly noticed the timing, with many commenting about the negative reaction to the trailer and expressing their desire for Snyder’s previous DC films (the “Snyderverse”) to be revived. The upcoming prequel is set in the 1960s and will tell the story of Danny Ocean’s parents. Margot Robbie and a co-star, previously believed to be Ryan Gosling, will play these parents. This setting isn’t just about their story, though – it’s also a tribute to the original Ocean’s Eleven movie from 1960, which featured Frank Sinatra and his famous “Rat Pack” friends like Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

Logan’s enduring popularity stemmed from his enigmatic nature, and the mechanics of his healing ability were a long-standing mystery for fans. For 27 years, Marvel kept the details secret, finally revealing them in a surprising place: Gambit (Vol. 3) #9. This issue featured Gambit facing off against Mister Sinister and Sabretooth, who had been severely injured and whose healing factor had failed. During their encounter, Sinister explained the origins of Logan and Sabretooth’s healing abilities – a backstory that would later be revised.

We often see shocking TV moments from unexpected plot twists, but sometimes shows change things that already happened. These changes, called retcons, can be small, but occasionally they’re massive, completely altering how fans understand the entire story and creating truly memorable moments.

If you’re fascinated by firearms but lack access to them, Gun Club VR provides a remarkably realistic experience. Released in 2018 by The Binary Mill, this virtual reality game is known for its incredibly accurate simulations. It’s not a typical first-person shooter with a storyline; instead, it focuses entirely on faithfully recreating a wide variety of guns – from pistols and rifles to shotguns and sniper weapons – and letting you experience them in different virtual environments.

I’m starting this article with a bit of a sad reflection because a recent announcement filled me with such joyful excitement, it reminded me of being a carefree child. The announcement was for Echoes of Aincrad, a game that could be one of the best JRPGs of 2026, and it’s based on the popular, though sometimes debated, anime Sword Art Online. It looks fantastic and promises an experience I’ve always wanted. However, one missing feature is preventing me from fully embracing the hype.
