Beyond Equilibrium: Engineering Materials with Quantum Measurement
![Electronic systems at finite temperatures are understood through two distinct frameworks: a conventional Hamiltonian-based approach, which describes states as thermally populated energy eigenstates [latex]\vert n \rangle[/latex] with energies [latex]E_n[/latex] and utilizes a density matrix ρ to account for temperature, and a quantum-trajectory approach, appropriate when inelastic scattering dominates, wherein temperature dictates trap occupancy and detrapping rates, leading to non-eigenstate trajectories and a qualitatively different thermal ensemble.](https://arxiv.org/html/2603.21769v1/Fig_B.png)
A new theoretical framework proposes harnessing the power of quantum measurement to design materials with properties inaccessible through conventional, Hamiltonian-based approaches.

As a lifelong Power Rangers fan, I still remember when “The Wedding” arc aired 31 years ago – it was episodes 41 through 43, and it was wild! It brought Rita Repulsa back after Zedd kicked her to the curb. She actually used a love potion on Zedd during a special recharge he was doing, and they ended up getting married! It’s definitely a storyline fans either love or hate, but it all happened because the Power Rangers movie was being filmed at the same time and messed up their usual schedule. It was a crazy time to be a fan!

Despite consistently opposing a fourth Back to the Future movie, Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have enthusiastically supported Back to the Future: The Musical. The musical, based on their 1985 film, first premiered in London’s West End before moving to Broadway, with Zemeckis and Gale involved in the adaptation and Roger Bart starring as Doc Brown. Following its Broadway run, the show is now touring the United States.

Back in 2017, they announced they were working on a PSVR game based on the show, teaming up with its creator, Vince Gilligan.
In a splendid regulatory upheaval, our esteemed federal authorities are delicately redefining how crypto assets are herded under the ever-watchful eye of U.S. securities law. On March 17, 2026, the valiant U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in cahoots with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), presented an elaborate tale detailing when our beloved digital tokens might just fall under the investment contract rules.
![The study investigates the scattering cross-sections for pseudo-Nambu-Goldboson (pNGB) dark matter particles-assumed to have a mass of 100 MeV-interacting with nucleons, specifically analyzing the [latex]10[/latex] and [latex]14[/latex] channels of the [latex]Sp(4)[/latex] symmetry group, and presenting results-for the [latex]14[/latex] channel-derived from prior work [11], with uncertainties represented through shaded regions surrounding central values depicted as solid, dashed, and dot-dashed lines.](https://arxiv.org/html/2603.19557v1/x6.png)
New simulations explore how self-interacting dark matter particles within a specific theoretical framework might reveal themselves through resonant states.

The project’s initial phase, completed in June 2025, centered on characters from the Rear Palace. The next phase will highlight lesser-known characters from the series, including those associated with the Verdigris House and others who haven’t received much attention. The newest artwork shows Lakan playing Go alone, while Lahan is seen smiling in the background, appearing to be working on scrolls. Both characters are surrounded by white magnolia blossoms, which were intentionally chosen as the monthly theme because they bloom in early spring.

The announcement came via a tweet from the official Battlefield account, and there’s some good news for PC gamers: the PC version won’t face the same issues as the versions for consoles.

This will likely be a key event connecting the books and the TV series, and you and your team will need to prepare to deal with it. We don’t know exactly when or where it will happen, but you should get ready for the consequences when it does.

This character excels at a careful, strategic playstyle in the game’s fast-paced fights. Using reconnaissance abilities and a companion drone, the Thief easily outmaneuvers enemy robots. The drone also serves as a useful distraction, allowing the Thief to draw opponents into the sights of a sniper rifle – a position made possible by a grappling hook. At least, that’s how the character demonstrates these tactics in the promotional video.
