You might have missed Sherlock Gnomes, the 2018 follow-up to Gnomeo & Juliet, which has been quietly available on Paramount+ since November 1st. This animated movie puts a fun, gnome-sized twist on the classic Sherlock Holmes stories. Johnny Depp voices the gnome version of the famous detective, who’s called in by Gnomeo and Juliet to investigate a string of missing gnomes in present-day London. Many of the original voice actors return, including James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Maggie Smith, Michael Caine, Ashley Jensen, Matt Lucas, Stephen Merchant, and even Ozzy Osbourne.

I’m really excited about the new anime project, Fist of the North Star: Requiem For The Fist King Army’s Weapons. It’s taking a unique approach by bringing together many of the most memorable villains from the Fist of the North Star series. The story follows a new character, Knob, who’s voiced by Hiro Shimono. He’s basically a guy looking for a job, but he wants to join the very group of villains that Kenshiro fought in the original series! It’ll be interesting to see if he can survive being one of them. The series is set to premiere on January 5th.
