Valve, known for keeping its upcoming projects under wraps, subtly hints at what it might be developing when suspicion arises. A fresh lineup of projects found on Valve’s Steam platform has sparked much curiosity and anticipation among fans.
Reddit user Relevant_Basis5444 noticed an anomaly on Valve’s Steam page suggesting that there might be another unannounced game in addition to “Deadlock” in development at Valve. In a post on Reddit, Relevant_Basis5444 pointed out that the Steam Page shows 2 upcoming releases, even though only “Deadlock” is visible to regular users.
Instead of attributing it solely to a mistake on the Steam page, it might also signal that Valve could be preparing to launch another game.
Regarding the company being Valve, there’s a lot of buzz surrounding the prospect of a fresh installment in the popular series, Half-Life. Frequent discussions have centered around the potential development of a sequel to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, with many fans speculating about Valve’s plans for new games. Despite the company predominantly working on multiplayer titles since then, this focus has not managed to dampen the speculation surrounding new releases.
Following the launch of VR-exclusive “Half-Life: Alyx”, which was Valve’s last significant single-player game, they have been busy with various projects. These include continued updates for “Dota 2” and “Counter-Strike 2”, as well as the recent alpha testing phase of the hybrid shooter MOBA game, “Deadlock”.
