Developers Heart Machine and Arc Games have shared their launch trailer for the upcoming open-world cooperative roguelike game, Hyper Light Breaker, which is set to begin Early Access on PC through Steam starting January 14.

During the Early Access phase, we’ll continually introduce fresh elements such as Breakers, Crowns, equipment, storyline, hidden gems, and other features via regular patches and significant updates. We’ll provide details about our content plan for Early Access through a roadmap to be unveiled soon, which will include the anticipated release date of the first major content update and the debut of a Breaker known as “Crow.

Heart Machine, the team renowned for their critically-acclaimed games such as Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash, has launched a fresh co-op rogue-lite experience: Hyper Light Breaker. This game is set in the cherished universe of Hyper Light Drifter, now available on Steam Early Access. Hyper Light Breaker is an innovative addition to the Hyper Light series, introducing a story fully realized in 3D for the first time and taking place decades before the original game. In this title, you assume the role of a Breaker, a mercenary venturing into the Overgrowth. Utilizing swift combat, ranged weaponry, and gadgets, players will traverse and battle through an assortment of procedurally-generated open worlds. Initially aiming to aid the settlement, it becomes apparent that sinister forces lurk within this long-abandoned land. By persisting and thoroughly exploring, you’ll gradually unravel the hidden secrets of the Crowns, The Abyss King, and this ominous, chilling new environment.
