WWE Just Revealed 3 Top Stars for the Royal Rumble, And John Cena Is In Trouble

On Netflix’s premiere of Monday Night Raw, WWE packed a punch with impactful scenes. However, as WWE entered its second week on Netflix, it seemed determined not to be overshadowed. The start of this week’s Monday Night Raw promised excitement with the appearance of CM Punk, followed by Seth Rollins and then Drew McIntyre. This star-studded segment saw significant progress for the Royal Rumble, as well. Not only did Punk announce his participation in the Rumble, but both Rollins and McIntyre followed suit, adding to the already intricate picture of the Rumble. To make matters more interesting, John Cena and Roman Reigns are also part of the mix.

Initially, Punk declared, “CM Punk is juggling a lot right now, but one thing I’ve eliminated from my own mix is Seth Rollins.” Later, he expressed, “Winning the Rumble has been a long-held dream of mine. As I looked into the distance, it appeared as though my career was slipping away. My dreams, once so vivid and terrifying, seemed to vanish.” Finally, he echoed Cena’s signature phrase by stating, “I couldn’t see.

I, standing alongside Punk, witnessed him lock eyes with Cena and declare, “John Cena, I’ve always got your back, friend. And lo and behold, you’ve announced your entry for the Royal Rumble. Well, let me share some news of my own – in 2025, CM Punk will be the one to send a whopping 29 contenders flying over that top rope! And trust me, when that moment comes, the beat of ‘Cult of Personality’ will resonate through the arena!

It was then that Rollins appeared, which left Punk feeling quite displeased. Sporting an injured eye, Rollins reminded Punk of his earlier promise, stating he would indeed show up as planned following their match. “If I weren’t a man of my word,” Rollins declared, “It wouldn’t be me – it would be you.” To this, Punk retorted, “But wouldn’t I still emerge victorious?

Rollins expressed, “I’d prefer to be the least admirable version of me over any version of you. I’ve had my fair share of defeats – from regular matches, main events, title contests, all the way to WrestleMania. Last week’s loss, however, was the most crushing of my career.” Punk simply responded, “Fair enough,” before Rollins went on to say, “I’ve never felt more disillusioned with myself. I misjudged you in the biggest moment of my life, and the only way I can make amends is by ruining your WrestleMania aspirations. You won’t win the Royal Rumble because I intend to claim victory there.

First, Drew McIntyre emerged and seemed to target Rollins, but Punk misunderstood and believed it was aimed at him instead. Rollins proposed a match, and Punk agreed as well, but McIntyre wasn’t interested in a fight on just any ordinary event. Instead, McIntyre confirmed his participation in the Royal Rumble and mentioned that five top-tier superstars are now involved, including McIntyre, Rollins, Punk, Reigns, and Cena.

The winner in this situation remains uncertain, as victory could go to any participant or none at all if they eliminate each other. McIntyre, Punk, and Rollins could potentially eliminate one another. Reigns might cause Cena’s elimination, while Cena could reciprocate against Reigns. However, Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline appears to be the most likely source of a Reigns loss. This only narrows down the potential winner to five out of thirty contestants, making the situation even more complex as we progress further.
