View Urgent ForecastHow to Save Sun Jian
Before we dive in, consider starting on the most straightforward difficulty level to help reduce stress. This is because there are factors beyond your control that might cause you to fail as you strive to rescue Sun Jian. It’s important to note that even on the easiest setting, the fight will still be challenging.
To swiftly rescue Sun Jian, hurry now and follow the marked route shown on the map picture below. Generally, you can just dash by your adversaries to save valuable time during most confrontations.
Once the fight commences, adhere to the route marked on the map and sprint past most of the enemies en route. You’ll encounter a few lieutenants along your journey, but you won’t have to defeat every single one of them.
To conquer first, focus on eliminating Pang Ji, who stands watch at the gate. Once he’s been defeated, you can then open the gate. Afterward, vanquish Wang Can to seize an enemy stronghold and advance past the next obstacle barring your way.
After surmounting the initial point, you’ll encounter one more barrier, situated at the remote western edge of the chart, overseen by an ordinary commander. Beyond that, the challenges intensify significantly.
If you arrive promptly, you’ll find yourself needing to pause, as you can’t move forward until after an extremely challenging battle has been won. After Sun Jian declares his march towards Huang Zu, a mist or fog will settle over your location.
Engaging with the phantom of Zhang Jiao will result in a fierce battle. You’ll need to overcome him among an army of shadows. It’s crucial to concentrate on defeating the phantom promptly, as it’s extremely resilient and requires significant effort to vanquish, even at the lowest difficulty level.
Pile all your resources against him, for he’s the main obstacle in our ongoing journey. Overcome this challenge, and you’ll find yourself moving southward where Sun Jian engages Huang Zu. Saddle up and ride swiftly towards that direction!
As you near the finish, you’ll eventually encounter a defensive line led by Huang Zu and Kuai Liang. It’s best to avoid engaging them directly; instead, look for a way to break through their defense and make a beeline towards the destination marked with a yellow square on the map image provided earlier.
Without delay, head north instead, and you’ll eventually find yourself at Sun Jian’s location, leading to a cinematic event. Instead of meeting an untimely end, your character will shove Sun Jian aside, thus sparing his life from a falling boulder that was supposed to crush him had you followed the original plot line.
When you receive the “altered fate” message, it signifies that you’ve successfully rescued him and significantly modified the mission’s ending, possibly opening up intriguing “what if?” situations. The main task is accomplished at this point, but beware of the overly powerful shadow boss!
