Brittany Mahomes Reveals Her Dreamy Nursery for Baby Golden—You Won't Believe the Pink Perfection!

Only a few days following the arrival of our third bundle of joy with Patrick Mahomes, I gave a heartwarming peek into Golden Raye’s cozy nursery.

As I unveiled the joyous news that I was welcoming a baby girl, my thoughts instantly drifted towards a soft, rosy-hued nursery. I yearned to create an atmosphere that exuded warmth and pink tones, and it was Golden’s name that inspired us to incorporate gold accents harmoniously into her room.

Beyond the door of Brittany’s nursery, you’ll find a charmingly pink-decorated space. The walls are soft dusty rose, the furniture is white with golden trimmings, and it’s filled with sun-themed ornaments. There’s even a framed poster that says, “Shine your light.

The 29-year-old meticulously chose the crucial element of a nursery – a chair, as she referred to it.

She pointed out that, as a mother, you tend to spend considerable time on this chair – whether for breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, reading books, or performing bedtime routines. As such, it’s essential that the chair is comfortable.

Since her NFL quarterback husband is taller than her, Brittany chose a chair that comes with an individual ottoman, making it simple to customize the height.

Instead, other customizations were made such as replacing the handles of Golden’s bookcase with golden-tinted bows – a tribute to her name – and installing a scripted plaque that read “Golden Raye” above her cradle.

In the caption of her little paradise, designed by Crate and Kids where fans can create their own, Brittany wrote, “This is the ideal sanctuary for our precious newborn daughter. We’ll undoubtedly spend a lot of cherished moments in this warm and inviting nook.

For quite some time now, I’ve been delighted to share glimpses into my personal universe with all of you – from the intriguing stories that have shaped my children’s extraordinary names inspired by elements.

As it turns out, it all started with the couple’s dogs Steel and Silver.

In an Instagram post from April 2023, Brittany shared, “I named the dog I got in college ‘Steel,’ inspired by my college days. Later, we decided to get another dog, and because Steel’s name fit so well, we thought about naming her Sterling as it complemented Steel perfectly.

She added, “I replied in the negative, expressing my hope that one day her name would be Silver, complementing Steel. And indeed, when our daughter arrived, we had already decided on Sterling. Furthermore, with a son born and him becoming Patrick Mahomes III, Bronze seemed destined and fitting.
