Allison Holker Smiles Through Family Drama: What’s Really Going On?

It looks like Allison Holker is shaking off recent criticism.

The former contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance” maintained a positive demeanor as she ventured out in Los Angeles on January 16, following criticism from friends close to her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, regarding her forthcoming memoir titled “This Far.

For the outing, Allison arrived at Hollywood Burbank Airport dressed in a relaxed style. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans, green-and-white sneakers, a white t-shirt, and a custom tan letterman jacket with cream sleeves. To finish off her look, she carried a black bag and wore her hair long and wavy, falling in loose waves. This description applies to Allison who is 36 years old.

Allison, mother of Weslie (16), Maddox (8), and Zaia (5) with Stephen, beamed upon her arrival in sunny California. At one instance, she showed a broad smile while welcoming her driver, who displayed a sign bearing her name, as she stepped out of the airport.

In the run-up to her trip to Los Angeles, Allison encountered backlash from Stephen’s relatives and followers due to her portrayal of the DJ (who passed away by suicide in December 2022) in her book. This included revealing details such as finding a cache of drugs in his closet just before his funeral, as well as passages suggesting childhood sexual abuse by a male family member, based on journal entries attributed to him.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram on January 9th, Connie Boss Alexander, Stephen’s mom, expressed that she could no longer remain silent as she encountered such distressing allegations about her cherished child, Stephen. “We, as a family, will take it upon ourselves to safeguard Stephen’s name and memory, and we are resolute in our efforts to uphold his honor.

Stephen’s brother, Dre Rose, along with his good friend, Courtney Ann Platt, shared similar thoughts with the matriarch. To be specific, Dre reposted an Instagram message from Courtney, which characterized Allison’s memoir as “the most crass, tasteless, self-serving act I have ever witnessed in my existence.

Despite the commotion, Allison has not remained quiet on the issue. On the contrary, the author justified her act of disclosing Stephen’s past by revealing that she did so in an attempt to aid those dealing with similar challenges, as she herself struggled along with him.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on January 8th, Allison expressed that if you choose to read the book, her aim is to expressively convey the love and life she experienced with Stephen and their three cherished children. Additionally, she intends to shed light on the intricate aspects of both their lives. Her hope is that by revealing our complete narrative, she may be able to assist someone else who might identify with Stephen or a loved one in their circumstances.
