Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? – Issue 564

2025 has finally kicked off its game release schedule with the launch of Dynasty Warriors: Origins! The following year promises a host of exciting games, so let’s clear our gaming backlogs and keep up with the latest releases to make sure we don’t miss out on any of these promising titles. This weekend, we invite you to join us in either revisiting old favorites or exploring new ones!

Echo Apsey

I’m exploring Synduality: Echo of Ada to learn more about it since it piqued my interest when it was first announced. At the same time, I’m also working on completing Season 1 in Marvel Rivals!

Jamie O’Neill

As a gamer reminiscing, I’m dusting off my DVD of the E3 2004 preview for Resident Evil 4 that came with CUBE magazine. In honor of its 20-year anniversary in January 2025, I’ve got plans to dive back into the 2005 original on both my PS3 and PS4 consoles for a nostalgic playthrough.

Liam Croft

I’ve downloaded the latest demo of The First Berserker: Khazan, so I plan to try it out at some stage.

Stephen Tailby

This weekend, I’ll primarily focus on two smaller games for review since that’s what I have at hand. If I manage to find some extra time, I’d be thrilled to delve back into Hitman again, as there’s still a lot left in Agent 47’s assassination-filled universe to explore.
