Suits LA Adds Fan-Favorite Marvel, The Office, Veronica Mars Stars to Cast

The star-studded cast for NBC’s eagerly awaited Suits spinoff, titled Suits: L.A., is expanding even further. Leading the charge is Stephen Amell from Arrow. This upcoming prime time series, due to air next month, revives the Suits franchise for television following the extraordinary streaming achievements of the original show. Set in Los Angeles and focusing on the entertainment industry, the spinoff has recently welcomed several experienced actors to its roster.

As I eagerly follow the latest updates in the world of television, I’m thrilled to share that, as per a recent report from Variety, the talented trio – Brian Baumgartner, Patton Oswalt, and Enrico Colantoni – have all been added to the cast of Suits: L.A., gracing our screens in guest starring roles. These remarkable actors will portray fictionalized versions of themselves, perfectly fitting the Hollywood industry backdrop, much like the guest stars on Curb Your Enthusiasm or Entourage. I can hardly wait to see their performances!

Baumgartler is widely recognized for his role as the chili-spilling accountant and basketball player Kevin in every season of “The Office.” Oswalt, an accomplished comedian with years of experience, has graced numerous shows such as “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” for a significant period. Colantoni, more recently seen in the Canadian drama series “Allegiance,” is arguably best remembered for his portrayal of Keith on “Veronica Mars.

In the show “Suits: L.A.“, Amell plays the role of Ted Black, an attorney in Los Angeles’ entertainment industry. The series portrays Ted as facing a challenging situation; his law firm is at a critical juncture, forcing him to reconsider a career path he had previously scorned. Among a talented ensemble of characters, Ted finds himself tested as their loyalties are put to the test, all while they struggle to keep their personal and professional lives separate.

This television program also features Josh McDermitt from “The Walking Dead”, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg among its stars. The most thrilling casting announcement so far is that Gabriel Macht, formerly of “Suits”, will appear in at least a few episodes. Macht will reprise his character Harvey Specter in the spin-off series “Suits: L.A.”, set for a three-episode stint. At present, specifics about his role on the new show are limited, leaving uncertainty as to whether his arc could lead to further appearances down the line. As of now, Macht is the only original “Suits” actor confirmed for a guest role in the upcoming series.

The new show titled “Suits: L.A.” originates from creator Aaron Korsh, who will assume the roles of writer and executive producer for this spinoff. Unlike its predecessor, which aired all nine seasons on USA, “Suits: L.A.” is set to transition to network television, making its debut on NBC on February 23rd.
