In a surprising move, the classic PlayStation 1 RPG, The Legend of Dragoon, has quietly received an update on the PS5 in 2023. This patch is said to address most of the issues that surfaced with Sony’s modern platform release. Interestingly, despite the original game being nearly 20 years old, and this version having been available for two years now, update 1,000.004 appears to be exclusive to the PS5; there’s no indication it will be rolled out for the PS4 as well.
In simpler terms, we gently discussed some problems in the initial release of this new version, and it appears that the community subsequently made a list of remaining issues that needed fixing. MP1st confirmed (checked) since there were no official patch notes for this latest update on PS5, and they claim that the main problems seem to have been resolved. So, if you’ve been waiting to reunite with Dart and crew, you might be ready now.
