PlayStation’s Leo Cardoso explained in a PS Blog post that the new console designs take inspiration from the vibrant RGB lights commonly found in gaming setups. Designer Sae Kobayashi also highlighted a delicate transparency in the console covers, adding a refined detail.

It looks like these console covers are designed for the standard PS5, and won’t fit the PS5 Pro.

You can pre-order these items starting January 16th, 2026, with official launch on March 12th. The DualSense controllers will cost $84.99 (US), €84.99 (Europe), or £74.99 (UK). Console covers will be available for $74.99 (US), €74.99 (Europe), or £64.99 (UK), but supplies are limited.

You’ll be able to buy them from PS Direct or other participating retailers.
