Once you’ve completed the events of “Back in the Saddle,” you’re welcome to rendezvous with Hans at Trosky Castle to kick off your new adventure. You have the flexibility to initiate this quest whenever you prefer, but it would be prudent to gather some essential supplies beforehand. For instance, crafting a potent Lion Perfume or Mintha Perfume prior to the encounter will prove beneficial. These items enhance your Charisma, making it smoother to persuade others in your favor, which is crucial during the early stages of this quest involving the prisoner in “Kingdom Come 2.”

Once you’ve completed the task and acquired the items mentioned, converse with Hans, which grants you access to interrogate a detainee in Trosky Castle. The manner in which you conduct this part of your mission is entirely at your discretion. Following your conversation with the prisoner during Necessary Evil, you’ll face a crucial decision: Do you reveal Olda Semine’s role in the regional raids to Otto? If you aim for a more favorable outcome in Kingdom Come 2, it would be wise not to discuss this matter with Otto. In other words, you’d choose to keep silent about the situation and not disclose it to him.

This could pose a challenge if you’ve previously shared with Otto that Olda departed during the Semine wedding while completing the Back in the Saddle mission. He might probe further on this topic, requiring a successful tough test from you. In such a scenario, any items you employed to converse with the prisoner would still be effective, allowing you to proceed. Nevertheless, there’s a possibility that he presses for more information, forcing you to disclose these specifics.

Following your conversation with Otto, if you haven’t shared information about Olda Semine’s role, the quest concludes, and you readjust for the ensuing phases of the For Victory! quest. Conversely, if you disclosed Olda Semine was involved, Otto arranges for you and Hans to join Hashek in a raid against the Semine village. You’ll be part of the brutal assault, choosing allegiance between Semine or Hashek in this conflict.

Should you side with Semine or Hashek in Kingdom Come 2?

At the Semine estate, you have the option to align yourself with Hashek or the inhabitants of Semine. Choosing Semine means confronting Hashek and his followers, joining forces with the people of Semine to protect their homeland. After the conflict, a strategy is formulated with them to set fire to it, which ultimately necessitates your return to Otto’s castle, where you must account for the events that transpired to Hans.

In another scenario, you could remain loyal to your original strategy and engage both Semine and Hashek in battle. If you choose this path, you’ll find yourself squared off against Olda Semine within the keep. There’s also an option to withdraw your support, joining forces with Olda to confront Hashek instead. However, only you and Hans would participate in that fight. Alternatively, you could continue your battle with Olda, resulting in the elimination of everyone present at the location.

Regardless of your allegiance, you need to head back to Trosky Castle for a conversation with Otto von Bergow about the recent events. If you were with Semine, you can discuss Otto and mislead him on everything, as he’ll likely be deceived. On the other hand, if you were with Hashek, Otto is opposed to such brutality, but the past cannot be changed now.

After the incursion at Semine in Kingdom Come 2, you’ll get a message directing you towards the next mission titled For Victory! Here, you’ll join Otto for a meal. Opting out of discussing Semine with Otto is the wiser choice if your aim is to prevent another raid on Semine.
