Even though Monster Hunter Rise is not due for another couple of weeks, game developer Capcom has confirmed that it will continue supporting the game with updates after launch. The initial free update will be available this coming spring season, introducing a fresh monster and additional content to the Forbidden Land.
As a gamer, I’m stoked! Springtime is bringing the first free update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and it’s introducing the aquatic beast, Mizutsune. Today, during the Sony State of Play, we caught a sneak peek at this bubbly monster, hinting at its playful and lively character. Can’t wait to dive in and hunt it down!
Together with Mizutsune, we have more Event Quests and further updates in store for you. These will begin appearing quickly, with Event Quests offering unique armor rewards being released a week after launch. We’ll share more information about these updates at a later time.
Later on during summertime, you can expect a second complimentary content update. This update will introduce a new monster and additional Event Quests for your enjoyment.
