Get Ready! Mecha Break’s Global Open Beta with Crossplay is Almost Here!

Recently, I expressed my eagerness for the imminent game, Mecha Break. I also shared my disappointment about missing some earlier betas. Guess what? The developers of Mecha Break, Amazing Seasun Games, have just revealed there’ll be another open beta soon! Isn’t it serendipitous?

The following is directly from their press release:

Amazing Seasun Games, a trailblazer in China’s gaming industry, has unveiled plans for the Global Storm Open Beta Test of Mecha BREAK starting February 23 at 10:00am UTC (5:00am ET / 2:00am PT). This upcoming beta will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, featuring crossplay, and will provide players with the most comprehensive glimpse yet into Mecha BREAK’s core gameplay mechanics. The beta includes game modes previously tested such as 6v6 and 3v3, plus a new tactical cooperative PvPvE mode called ‘Mashmak.’

During this open trial phase, you’ll find all the gameplay elements that will debut when Mecha BREAK officially launches. Once you’ve completed the tutorial and initial setup, you can design your first pilot character and traverse the starting space station. You’ll have access to all three main gameplay modes: refined adaptations of the 6v6 Operation VERGE and 3v3 Ace Arena, plus the innovative PvPvE experience ‘Mashmak.’

For the first time ever, you’ll engage in intense combat across a 200-square-kilometer region called the Mashmak Isles. The objective is to acquire resources referred to as ‘Corite’. Be prepared for random Corite Storms that will drastically alter the battlefield as players strive for control over these islands.

Initially, combatants can select their battle gear prior to engaging in combat. This selection includes a variety of items such as weapon pickups, gliders equipped with healing capabilities, sniper rifles, suppressive fire options, and more. As the fight progresses, players will unlock increasingly powerful weapons and equipment to confront the toughest obstacles they’ll encounter later on.

Mecha BREAK open to Xbox and PC players

Watching the gameplay trailer for Mecha BREAK has me even more eager to jump in and play. I’ve been yearning to get my hands on this game ever since I first heard about it. The fusion of GUNDAM and Armored Core feels like a dream come true, and from what I’ve seen so far, Mecha BREAK looks both exhilarating and chaotic. I just hope I can keep up with the intense action it promises!

In addition to various game modes, players can also unlock and experiment with a total of thirteen unique mechs, known as Strikers. These Strikers boast a diverse set of skills distributed among offensive, defensive, and supportive categories. By the time the game launches in late 2025, you’ll have had the chance to test them all out and discover which one suits you best.

Feedback on the game has consistently been extremely favorable during both its open and closed testing phases. Players who participated in these tests, even ones held several months ago, have expressed their enthusiasm, commenting, ” frankly, the last test session was fantastic. If you had released the game then, I would have gladly purchased it.

Currently, there’s just buzz surrounding the newest trailer, as gamers scream their enthusiasm for the upcoming open beta test. I’m just as thrilled as you are! This game looks utterly mind-blowing. I can hardly wait until the open beta goes live on February 23, 2025. It promises to be an incredible experience.
