Assassin’s Creed Shadows Pre-Orders “Tracking Solidly,” Comparable to Odyssey

Ubisoft is pinning high hopes on “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” for a successful outcome, following the disappointing performance of “Star Wars Outlaws”. Luckily, even with repeated delays and some disputes, its pre-orders are doing well according to their third-year fiscal year 2025 financial reports.

Building on that, they closely resemble “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” one of the franchise’s most prosperous titles, with “Valhalla” taking the lead as the first. As for “Shadows,” it’s yet to be determined if it will match the launch sales of “Valhalla.” However, early previews have been favorable.

The action-adventure game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” will be released on March 20th, available for play on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. A recent trailer has highlighted unique features exclusive to its PC version, such as ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, support for XeSS 2.0 (alongside other upscalers and Frame Generation), and many additional enhancements.
