In the latest season of Call the Midwife, there’s been quite a bit happening – Cyril and Lucille deciding to end their marriage, allowing Rosalind to step into the picture; Nancy choosing to leave Nonnatus House ahead of her wedding; Joyce facing an upcoming tribunal due to a racial complaint, leaving her future uncertain.
Over the course of time, Dr. Turner and the midwives have found themselves consistently engaged in a diverse array of intricate, moving, and emotionally charged medical cases, which have proven to be both captivating and challenging.
As a dedicated film enthusiast, I must share that this upcoming Sunday will not see any new installment of the BBC’s captivating period drama, as it has been postponed from its usual airtime.

Why isn’t Call the Midwife on this weekend?
The BAFTA Film Awards are back in action, marking the start of awards season! You can catch them live on BBC One on Sunday, February 16th, from 7 to 9:05 pm. Unfortunately, that means there won’t be a new episode of Call the Midwife this week.
Once again, David Tennant will serve as host, with a variety of films vying for significant accolades such as “Wicked,” “Emilia Pérez,” “The Brutalist,” “Anora,” “Conclave,” and “Dune: Chapter Two.
But Miss Austen will air as normal after the ceremony has wrapped.
As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I must share some disappointing news – I myself will need to patiently anticipate the airing of the penultimate episode of Call the Midwife’s fourteenth season, which won’t be shown until Sunday, 23rd February.
It has been established that Sister Catherine is grappling with her mental peace, Joyce has been scheduled for a disciplinary hearing, and there’s significant news regarding May Turner, which actress Laura Main alluded to at the TopMob Covers Party in January.
“I just want everything to be OK with May,” she said. “I really, really do.
I truly cherish these kids and these actors; I find joy in working with them. They are an exceptional team, and I can’t help but hope that everything is alright.
“And yes, of course, we are still technically fostering her, so there is always that concern.”
The main person continued by hinting that there’s a little extra of the same theme in this sequence, yet she chose not to elaborate on the specifics of what we can expect.
