The survival horror game Pathologic 3 is now available on PlayStation 5 through the PlayStation Store, as originally planned for PC (Steam). Publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Ice-Pick Lodge had previously announced a later release date for the PS5 version, alongside the Xbox Series release. The Xbox Series version will launch on January 23rd.
Here is an overview of the game, via HypeTrain Digital:
About the Game
Pathologic 3 is the latest installment in the beloved and enigmatic series about a strange plague sweeping through a remote steppe town. The game is a psychological detective experience where you play as Daniil Dankovsky, a doctor from the capital who comes seeking an ‘immortal’ man, only to find himself leading the desperate battle against the outbreak and trying to save the city within a 12-day timeframe.
You play as a doctor in this chilling horror game, racing against time to save a town from a strange illness. You’ll have to make difficult choices and accurately diagnose patients. Your decisions will determine the town’s fate, and even allow you to change past events. But be warned: as everything around you crumbles, you’ll need to stay strong to succeed.

Okay, so I’m playing as Daniil Dankovsky, and I just arrived in this place called the City-on-Gorkhon. My mission? Find an immortal! Apparently, someone’s going to be waiting for me at the platform to help me with my bags when I get off the train. Sounds like a weird start to a quest, but I’m ready to roll!
